This rocky tourist attraction lies at the spot where the Mandovi and the Zuari rivers meet the Arabian Sea. It’s one of the popular tourist places in GOA after beaches.

Shopping at Calangute -Baga Beach Streets GOA:

 Calangute Beach is Goa’s most famous Golden beach. Also, it’s the busiest and most commercial beach in Goa, it is full of foreigners tanning themselves on the endless rows of side-by-side sun lounges. Calangute – Baga lane is one worthy ride you could have. We must inform you that the streets are always crowded and its best to hire a two-wheeler and ride along.  Also, it’s one of the best attraction in Goa Tourist places. The lane is full of Restaurants, Cafe’s & Night Clubs. The famous Tito’s is also located on this street. You can enjoy your time there. 

South GOA

South Goa including Colva Beach, Mangeshi Temple, Santa Durga Temple and some more attractions. Begin with a visit to Margao, the capital of Salcette taluka and headquarters of the South Goa district.

Visit the historical “Largo de Igreja”, the Church square of Margao, which once used to be its colonial quarter.The church is one of the finest examples of Indian Baroque style of architecture.

Basilica of Bom Jesus: Goa’s religious legacy

Churches in Goa are an important legacy of it being an erstwhile Portuguese colony. Built across centuries, these architectural wonders were more than just a place of worship; they hold a place of historical or cultural significance as well. One of the popular churches in Goa is the Basilica of Bom Jesus. The mortal remains of St. Francis Xavier is preserved here in this Basilica and hence revered by many. It also is a UNESCO World Heritage site.



Dudhsagar Falls

After enjoying a hearty breakfast, visit the Dudhsagar Waterfalls, which is regarded as one of the most beautiful waterfalls of Goa and is situated on the eastern border with Karnataka. Falling from a height of 320m, it’s regarded among one of the tallest waterfalls in India. The water, as it plummets, creates a foamy milk. This is also why the waterfall is known as Dudhsagar, which means, “sea of milk”.

You start your day by driving across the state of Goa and passing through small villages, past bright paddy fields and swaying palm trees. Drive your way to Collem to board the safari van/safari jeep to take you to the waterfalls. A short walk in the forest leads you to the base of the waterfalls. You could enjoy a swim in the cool waters of the pond as well as under the cascading falls. Rest under the shade of the trees and observe the monkeys prancing around. Post lunch, experience the thrills of an elephant ride.

Baga Beach

At a distance of 15 km from Panjim Kadamba Bus stand, Baga beach is located in North Goa. Baga Beach starts right where Calangute ends. Named after the Baga Creek that merges into the Arabian Sea on the northern part of the beach, this is one of the most popular among GOA Beaches.

Baga Beach is famous for its delicious seafood. However, the nightlife at Baga is even more exciting than its days. Baga Beach is another popular option to visit in Goa Tourist places. This beach is entertaining from sunrise to sunset. The sea here is not safe for swimming from May end to early October. Best Time to visit is October to February.
